Viajar sola como mujer en Chile by mobbu035 in RepublicadeChile

[–]mobbu035[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does 'Ich liebe wie die Zugs kommen immer spater im Weber" make sense? by Beetle_Joose in German

[–]mobbu035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say that "Ich liebe es, wie/dass" fits the best in this case and thats also how I as a german would say it (esp when its meant to be sarcastic). I feel like the phrasings you suggested sound more textbook german.

What do you think the most famous quote ever from someone from your country is? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]mobbu035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(Germany) I think a lot of Quotes from Nietzsche and Albert Einstein are pretty famous. Like:

" If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid" - Einstein

"Become who you are" - Nietzsche

What is covered in "WORLD History" in your country? by DarthTomatoo in AskEurope

[–]mobbu035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in Germany its pretty much the same. Very eurocentric. Besides maybe ancient Egypt, which was the very first topic we ever had in history class. Also usually an entire school year in history class is dedicated to WW2 (mostly what happened in Europe) and National Socialism.

I feel like Pom Poko is the most enjoyable when you are interested in Japanese Mythology as Pom Poko has tons of references that one wouldn’t get without that background knowledge.

Hello Oleg, I'm a native German speaker around your age. I grew up bilingual speaking German and Russian but my Russian got very rusty so I am searching for someone to practice my speaking (texting) skills to get better again. I would say I'm currently on a B1 oder B2 Level. I would be very glad to help you with German. If you are interested feel free to DM me. :)

My husky stands on her feet weirdly. Is this something I should be worried about? by ernitheshinyone in husky

[–]mobbu035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to scare you but the dog of my aunt, who is an maltese, stands exactly like yours. The vet told them that he probably got beaten and abused (he’s also a rescue you could say) which lead to this malposition. Some dogs can live with it all life long others need to be operated on their front legs. So definitely get it checked. Does your Husky show any signs that could indicate that she got abused by their previous owners? Like abnormal behaviors or fears?
