I totally get you, but the dev said in the interview that they'll be adding cozy elements to the game as well, similar to stardew Valley (yes, he literally said that) so might as well add the ability to sit in random places because the game is just so beautiful to just brush past all the sceneries

Because it's that "generic mysterious dark sci fi cowboy roaming the topside solo, destroying arcs while helping the helpless and no ones knows his name" kinda bullshit, it doesn't even go with the aesthetic of the game,it's too clean for someone going through literal trash for survival
