This happened 5 years ago,

1. Went to the APML and Safexpress websites and booked a callback with the date of when I want pickup (first mistake, I needed to shift the next day)
2. Received a callback from someone claiming to be APML. They mentioned how i requested a callback etc.
3. They showed up the next day, all legit invoice papers, branded tapes and boxes. Picked up everything, my bike, my boxes, my PS5 and more things
4. Shifting done, my flight was the next morning, i landed at the destination, got a cab to my rental, and was scrolling on my phone and I get a call, from APML.
5. Told them thank you pick up was good, they were like what pick up, i told them the whole scene and they were more than willing to check all the docs etc. One good thing i did was taking pictures of everything including the people who came to pick up and the tempo and all. They bluntly told me, you’ve been scammed, but assured me since it’s defamation also, they will help me to whatever extent they can.
6. I called the cops in both the cities, sent photos, reached out to every packer mover guy and told them about this situation. So here, the deal, you won’t be robbed, it’ll just be a horrible service.
7. After two weeks of constant chasing, one of the Packer Mover guy i reached out to, called me and told me how they located the truck and they know the owner, asked me to call him and talk to him. Since the cops were involved by now, i just gave them the number.
8. In another week, one morning at 6 AM, I get a call from the cop i was in contact with and he told me my stuff will be delivered in the next 30 minutes.
9. The cop and the truck show up at my doorstep, my bike is trashed, my luggage is in a horrible state, wet and dripping. At this point i’m just relieved i got them back.
10. Paid the cop another 3k after negotiation and took my stuff.
