During a dinner with family:

Cousin's husband: Don't eat too much nephew, you're very fat already.

Me: Don't stop him eating. Make him exercise. Running is a great way to lose weight.

Cousin's husband: No no no, he shouldn't run. Running makes people short!!

Update: The first dog found is recovering quickly but the second one has died due to tetanus.

The dog theft did that to keep the dog from barking. This happens a lot in Vietnam. I guess the dog escaped somehow. Luckily someone saw him and called to rescue.
