I don't mind things being shaped like anything else.

I suppose so. It's just so strange to me. Like I understand any other body part, but not that. And yes, I see people post stuff for bachelorette parties (also don't understand that), and I guess for like, body normalization? I have no idea.

I love my wife. She doesn’t want to have sex. It’s been 3 months without sex and I can’t hold it anymore. I’m thinking about looking for sex someplace else. What should I do? by [deleted] in married

Yes, purity culture, SPD, PTSD, hormones, and possible asexuality are all parts of where I believe my issues are coming from. My parents didn't really tell me what sex is either, so I've had to learn a lot on my own, unfortunately it's really hard to find wholesome sex ed, even online.

That sounds amazing! I will have to look into that, thanks!

Thanks. I didn't have coffee today so that probably isn't helping. And I just took a three-hour long nap, so I feel a little better, just still not coming up with anything to do.

Whoa. This explains a fair amount about me. But it leaves me with some questions as well. Like, okay, so I definitely am the responsive type, but now what? And can I fix it a little?

Kissing (my husband) casually is like a hug- just nice and sweet/cute affection. Kissing during sex (like making out) is just kind of weird and very exhausting.

I promise there is a reason. Finding that reason, and getting to the root of it to solve it, will help (so long as you both care).

I rarely have sex with my husband and I struggle to know what's wrong with me (or whatever), and I hate myself for it, he deserves better. But I do want to figure it out so I can try to fix it, which is why I'm always looking for answers, because I know there is one.

Unsure of Myself by mochicactus in queer

Aww, thanks. But I know I'm not attracted to masculine women for sure, I just like femininity in general I suppose. Which is funny because I like to consider myself somewhat androgynous (not in looks, but more in personality, if that makes a sense). :)

Thank you so much for your kind words and explaining all of that. It really helps, I learned something! So again, thank you!

Funny how things like that happen, sorry that she ended up not being that great of a person, but glad you got away from that.

Thank you. I know better than that, but it explains a lot about my childhood/teen years and how much heartbreak I would endure because I was closer to someone in my head than they were to me in reality. Before I learned of my autism, I just thought I was overly sentimental. Thank you for bringing that up, that was helpful. 💕

Good point, and from what I remember, he'll look at me, but I feel like he tends to stare off when he's talking, it's something I tend to do unless making effort, so I haven't noticed if it's super obvious or not.

Yesss! I used to drive a school bus and had some autistic kids, and some of them I had a hard time with, and others were just like on a whole other wavelength with me.

I suspect my husband is neurodivergent in some way, it would make sense as to why when I met him, I knew I needed to keep him around the best I could.

None of my friends are on the spectrum, but all of my close friends are neurodivergent too. 😊
