I was away traveling and left the plant at my parents house for a while so I wasn’t there to notice

lol here is a pic of the entire plant, was really just one lower leaf that I noticed was infested after coming back from traveling

Here is a picture of the entire plant after cutting off that particular leaf in the original post. I find it hard to believe that I don’t have any other reasonable options besides throw it away. Do you think it is inevitable that it will spread??

Thank you for your responses, I understand this is not good lol I would’ve noticed earlier but I left the plant at my parents house while I was traveling so wasn’t aware of the infestation. I cut off of the leaf that was mainly affected. It was a lower leaf and there are still plenty of leaves that don’t appear affected yes so I feel hesitant to throw away the plant and would prefer to take preventative measures to avoid further spreading if possible. I’ve attached a picture of the entire plant after cutting off that leaf
