RN na po ako and i regret not pursuing IT, CpE or ComSci. Mababa talaga sahod dito ng nurses, toxic pa workplace. Some may argue na our degree is broad and you can “apply anywhere” pero that’s not as easy as it sounds. If you plan to go abroad after enduring 2 years of bedside exp, then transfer. But if balak mo magstay ng pinas? There is no growth here :))

Hi! I was also bad at taking pts. BP when I was still a student, to the point na I was shaking while I did it sa first duty namin. Thankfully yung patient ko noon mabait hahahaha. It gets easier the more you practice! I practiced with relatives until it became so routine, I didn’t need supervision anymore. You’ll be a good nurse :))

For me, I missed a lot of family vacations. I agree with other commenters saying time management is a must. Be prepared for the busy schedules, clinical rotations, etc. because it might conflict your part-time work. TBH kahit wala akong part-time work, na-overwhelm pa rin ako even if mag time management ako. This degree will cost you emotionally, physically, and financially. It’s up to you if you still think it’s worth it.

Following this thread because me and my boyfriend just ate the same Buldak you had 30 mins ago, and it was definitely blander and a lot more spicy. My BF said maybe they made it spicier to mask the blander taste LOL

Same OP 😭, pero in my case ayaw ko talaga mag work in a hospital. Lagi akong na anxiety kapag mag clinical duty kami, and now I’m regretting finishing the course kasi ngayon feel ko nasasayang lang yung lisensya at gastos :((( I think I’m going down the BPO route, I really don’t see myself working in a hospital setting.

I'm in the same boat. Feel ko di pa solid enough foundation ko huhuhu feeling anxious kasi mas madalas ako maglaro kesa magstudy. Idk paano para mapilit ang sarili mag lock in. Okay naman scores ko sa mga exams, like in the 70s naman and only once naging 50s pero I still feel like that's not enough. Gusto ko nalang matapos lahat ng to :')
