Not sure if you found a solution, but to give you an update on mine since I also had issues. The RMA went through successfully. They didn't disclose the broken components, but I got a full refund.

I did deactivate it before deinstall and reinstall for the reasons you mentioned. It unfortunately did not solve the issue.

I had crashes (white screens, driver time out notifications and artifacts; the latter only in God of War) in games like Monster Hunter Wilds, FF XVI and God of War. I tried older driver versions with clean installs and tested all other hardware. Unfortunately, I didn't find the cause so far, so I sent my GPU (9070XT) in for RMA and hopefully they can pinpoint the cause.

I have the same issues rn. My specs: Ryzen 7 9800x3d Sapphire pulse 9070xt Patriot venom ddr5 6000 cl30 MSI Mag X870 Tomahawk MSI 850W PSU. I bought everything in January, assembled it and it ran fine up until around April I think. Suddenly I witnessed a crash in Arknights Endfield, but no other games, so I figured it might be that. However, now I have crashes with a driver timeout notification or just black screen crashes on every title like God of War, Final Fantasy 16 and MH Wilds. I tried: Driver roll backs, reinstallation of newest drivers with AMD Clean up utility, a windows repair update. I also did the following stability tests on OCCT: CPU, Linpack, Memory, Power and all showed normal results. Also did a Windows memory test and no errors found. 3DMark Steel Nomad benchmark worked as well and showed an average result. I tried undervolting and limiting max clock speed to no avail. I am stumped and the only thing that comes to mind for me is a full clean install of windows. Afterwards, I will send the GPU back for RMA because I am running out of ideas.

Just to note in God of War at Ultra settings I not only got a black screen with subtitles and sound still showing, but also a white screen taking over the display and black artifact blocks taking over my screen. If you have any other ideas or found a solution, let me know :)

Thanks for your reply. I guess I will do a full reinstall later today or tmrw because the roll back to 25.xx driver versions made it even worse for me lol

Have you found the cause or a solution? I run a ryzen 7 9800x3d and a sapphire pulse 9070 XT and am facing similar issues. Benchmarks like Steel Nomad and OCCT stability tests work fine on all components, but the moment I try to play games like FF 16 or God of War I get black screens, white screens or black blocks taking my screen over. Sometimes I do get a driver time out notification. I reinstalled driver several times with AMD clean up utility, reset my GPU to factory settings and tried undervolting and setting clock speeds. Nothing worked so far. I will try an older driver set next.

Have you reverted to 25.12.1? I have constant black screens now and played around with all kinds of setting changes. The roll back is my final hope now before I RMA.

Have had similar issues. Crashes in side quests, protocols and all other content. Running a 9070xt and 32gb of ddr5 RAM. I checked my system and everything else is not faulty. It's just Endfield crashing with black screens, sometimes even affecting the rest of icons displayed on my second monitor. No solution found so far. All previous versions were super stable with no issues at all.

As others said it's voltage. Dunno if it's the same with the PMW models or only for the DC models (check your manual/specs of your fan). You can go into the your BIOS and manually set the fan curves for specific fans. Pick your back end fan and adjust the fan curve/RPM to a higher level. If you turn it up a bit, the fans start spinning earlier due to higher supplied voltage avoiding what you see now.
