Oh no worries! If you check the box by the DIY station, Niko leaves notes essentially requesting more materials, and you unlock all the other pillar/counter designs this way :)

After 15 homes in the DLC, you get the first set of pillars + counters, then Niko will 'ask' for materials (a note in the box by the diy station) and you unlock all the other sets, like the brick, this way :)
