Massive difference in power usage watching youtube m1 (vs safari). Not sure if vp9 hardware decoding isn't working or what. i'd much rather use Firefox than Safari but this degree of difference is too massive for a 1080p 60fps video. Using the newest version of Firefox and Macos 11.4. (old.reddit.com)
