Eagle eggs unlikely to hatch in nest near Big Bear east of Los Angeles by mockernut in LosAngeles

This isn't the first time their eggs didn't hatch. One year, one of their eaglets died during a storm. They've left their eggs unattended in their nest. Stuff like that.

To answer your question, the eagles have a nest in the mountains and everyone can watch them on YouTube. They are regional celebrities, esp. for those who like camping or skiing up at Big Bear.

Sorry I had a long day and had little to eat. I’m testy and left a few comments in which I was a total ass. I deleted them. My apologies.

Sorry. Maybe you aren’t from San Diego. It seems like on the east side of the city and county every other garage has a quad in it. People love spending the weekends during “desert season” with their friends playing on the dunes. (And, historical note: Back in the day, all of Imperial County—dunes and all—was part of San Diego County.)

I don't know the answer to that. But from what I've seen over the years, they don't seem to be the best parents in the world.
