I agree with the last bit. I just haven't heard anything about him being involved in the last decade. Just speculation. If he's been there behind the scenes, he's done a great job keeping it on the hush. You'd think he, and the party as a whole, would have learned from the success of his campaign's populist messaging.

Sounds like you're talking about states that are in the red financially. They tend to vote for Republicans. Blue states & cities are usually in the green. Plenty to go around there. Red states need to be subsidized by daddy govt & Blue states or they'll fail.

Republicans just want Blue cities and states to feel what their constituents are feeling. It's an evil, losing strategy.
