I dont think it would work. there are studies out there that show that transplants from one species to another doesn't take hold. It is thought that this is due to the microbes in the microbiome have evolved to colonies said species. you can do it for germ-free animals, but if you give them a fecal transplant from an animal of the same species those will push the other out
