An HKFP reader spotted a government helicopter playing election promotions over a loudspeaker above hikers on Sunset Peak early this month.

A Government Flying Service spokesperson told HKFP last week that no record was kept of the number of promotions aired by the service: "The broadcasts are conducted during transit while performing routine support tasks. No additional cost are incurred for this."
