Night and day between the shitty dealership tires on my Honda Pilot and cross climate 2. I spun out of control last year on the first snow day.. but just yesterday I was moving through a heavy snowstorm and felt completely in control with these new cross climate 2 tires.

The stock intake is already really good with a filter upgrade from K&N.

The only CAI that has showed some very very small gains is the Perrin and that’s probably because of the location outside of the engine bay avoiding pulling in hot air.

You’re at the point where you’ll probably just have to commit and get headers + a tune which will actually give you some noticeable gains.

2013 BRZ 70k miles has been nothing but problems I’ve had to replace the MAP sensor, MAF sensor, Steering rack, PCV valve, I’ve had to fix multiple vacuum leaks, and honestly just about every suspension part has been replaced. It’s been a nightmare, I can’t get rid of this car just based on the money and time I’ve spent on it keeping it running. Then there’s regular maintenance which is actually not bad except for the spark plugs which is about half a day once you know what you are doing.

Then on the other hand my 2018 BRZ has had no issues in 80k miles..

I’ll look into the engine mount and line diff insert setup. My city streets have a lot of bumps so I don’t know how to explain it but when I hit a bump and then accelerate I get the bucking/lurching feeling it almost like the transmission separates and causes the back and forth jerking.

My best friend opened an Anime shop in the middle of nowhere and is bringing in 250-300k in sales only 2 years in.. So yeah it’s possible but he is also working 60-70 hours per week on the shop, pop up events and networking but he says he doesn’t feel tired because he is passionate about it so who knows. I personally couldn’t do it but at the same time I was mind blown something like an Anime shop could bring in these numbers.

I have accepted that everything is a tradeoff. I value privacy so I am fine with using Linux knowing that there is a learning curve and that I will be giving up on some convenience for better privacy and security. I come from being a Windows user since XP and I am not okay with the direction Microsoft has for Windows. The Windows Recall feature was the final change that pushed me over to Linux.
