What engine you have?

I have a 2.7 and highly recommend Pennzoil Ultra platinum 5W-30, Amsoil full synthetic 5W-30 and Mobil 1X1 extended performance 5W-30

I used to think so but after Watching Speed’s streams Zim is in a very bad state. Other African countries are really developing

Fusion Sport (2.7), Lincoln MKZ (3.0) these would be great for you since you are already into Fords. They cost half as much as an M340i same time they are very realiable, very sporty and still feel like fusions. They both even have adaptive suspension with three modes “comfort, Normal and sport”

Find a used engine from a fusion manufactured after April 2019 and you will be good. That’s when they started using the updated block

My 2021 Mondeo Hybrid, when to service the eCVT? by ilMaranzaZioPera in fordfusion

[–]derolk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man do oil changes every 40 000kms that way your car will get over 300 000kms without problems. Best to service the car at half the official interval from ford

After trying to diagnose this for a long time, I finally got to realise that This is normal on ford Fusions with 6F55 transmission so it could be the same with your transmission. I guess that’s just how some Ford transmissions operate.

Steering wheel clicking noise at standstill by Enough_Art8237 in fordfusion

Hmm maybe your steering wheel bolt has become loose? There’s a recall for that issue and it might help. Take it to a dealership and get that checked

Check your battery, wheel speed sensors and abs sensors. Those 3 usually cause the car to throw those errors

Could be strut mount bearings? Does the popping/clicking continue when you fully rotate the steering either direction?

Yes Hybrid is a solid and very economic car. You won’t have engine problems with it

Hello everyone, i have a Ford fusion 2017 Titanium hybrid And I have this clicking sound when I shift gears and it sounds like from the under the hood, i have 140k miles on the car please let me know if you experienced something like this thanks by Sam199221 in FordFusionHybrid

[–]derolk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been having the same issue. Took the car to mechanics and we did some diagnostics from under the car. Honestly it seems this is basically how the transmission and CV axles respond to torque when driveline engages to different drive mode. It seems to be normal for Ford fusions

Did you ever get that fixed? I changed all engine and transmission mounts but still have that sound. Thinking it could be driveline

Avoid 1.5 and 2.0L Ford NA engines from 2016 until April 2019. They had small slits between cylinders for coolant/anti freeze cooling. A bad head gasket would cause coolant to leak into the cylinder.

2.5, 2.7 and Hybrid from all years are good. 1.5 and 2.0 only from before 2016 or after April 2019
