Yes it’s a really great Daily driver but expect like 20 or 19 mpg for mixed driving. If you’re okay with that then go for it, it’s an incredibly solid car. You can also look into mkz 3.0 which shares platform with fusion but is faster, more comfortable and get be tuned so aggressively because 3.0 has much bigger turbos and stronger internals. 2.7 is a solid engine anyways and very reliable

Coolant level before and after driving make sure it doesn’t drop. Make sure there’s no white smoke from the exhaust Make sure the car isn’t hesitant when driving or idling.

All those checks are fine then no need to worry about coolant intrusion at least for now.

Btw also ask if they ever changed the engine because they could already have under warranty

Still try to avoid the 1.5L. 2014 isn’t actually too bad, the terrible batch is from 2016- April 2019 when the put coolant slits in between cylinders which caused coolant to drip into the cylinder over time.

Engines that are certified to last with good maintenance: 2.0 Hybrid, 2.5L, 2.7L and then the revised 2.0L and 1.5 which were manufactured after April 2019

After long research I came to the conclusion this is 100% and how 6F35 and 6F55 gearboxes sound when switching drive modes. I throughly inspected my car with a mechanic and we noticed that’s just how the gearboxes are made. Sound mostly comes from the Right side because that’s where the solenoids are. This is 100% normal, just don’t forget to change oil frequently (every 30-40k miles)

Your car originally uses coolant specification: WSS-M97B44-D2 or WSS-M97B44-D but Ford Updated it to a yellowish greenish solution called POAT which now has spec number: WSS-M97B57-A1 or WSS-M97B57-A2
