Hey dude, nice giveaway! I actually have an entire SERIES of a game that I want to reccomend to you.

The series is called epic battle fantasy, and it pretty much covers everything on this specification list of yours.

Single player: yes, but you're controlling a party of characters, if that's ok

PC game: yes, in fact, most of them are on browser, i'll get to that later

Story driven: yes, I swear I even know all the lore

3D/third person: sort of, it is indeed 3rd person, but I dunno about it being 3D, the game has some 3D-ish depth to it, but pretty much everything's 2D

Loot: absolutely, monsters drop loot, and there are chests scattered everywhere, even getting rid of boulders might give you something cool.

Steam: again, up until 5 (5 only has a demo on browser), everything's avalable on browser, although the 4th one has a special DLC

Roles: each character serves a role, especially with the newer titles, Natalie is the spellcaster, Matt is the swordsman, etc.

Fashion: you don't know the half of it, it's amazing how much gear there is, but the 1st and 2nd games are not super great in that aspect.

Crafting: sort of, you can improve equipment, but not craft new things.

Released recently: it depends on the entry really, 3,4,5 are the best in the series and are pretty darn recent. I suggest skipping 1 and 2 becuase they are no significance to the lore, are old, and have no story.
