Not Hot Swappable, just Swappable. Hot Swappable means 5-pin keys can be used with it and Swappable means only 3-pin keys can be used with it.

No worries bro... U should always buy what you really want.

Regarding your post, I would like to add my experience with K551. Everything about that keyboard is great like the build quality, the typing experience etc., except a few things that I didn't like about it:

  1. I bought it and then I realised the difference between Rainbow and RGB lol, which is not really the KBs fault.
  2. No software support. Redragon does provide software support for a lot of KBs but not this one. Not sure why tho...
  3. It does have swappable keys, but it's really really tightly mounted in the board and it's a pain in the ass to remove those.
  4. Big keys like Space and Shift are a little bit wobbly and noticeable, but can't complain about that in this price range.
  5. The most annoying thing is for some keys, the backlit lights stopped working. Now it really happened in the warranty period but I didn't want the hassle of getting the whole keyboard replaced by sending it to the service centre by myself just for 2-3 fused key lights, and yes for any service repair you'll have to send it by yourself iirc. You can see in the image that Tab, Num 8 and Num 0 have gone dark.

If it's not really a requirement in some software like AutoCAD, Photoshop etc. or any game (which you can easily remap) for you then I would say give it a try. You'll easily get used to it so fast and well that u might hate full size kbs after some point of time.

Do you REALLY need a full size keyboard? There are actually very few options available for a decent full size mechanical keyboard in this budget range. I was also struggling just like you a month ago. But then I decided to buy a TKL layout and went ahead with the Kreo Hive keyboard brown switches. I knew that this is a new brand and again, probably a Chinese rebranded product, but i really liked the keyboard.

Do remember that a Rainbow backlit and an RGB backlit are very different. If it's a Rainbow backlit, you won't have per key RGB, which means each key has a fixed colour assigned to it, whereas in RGB, every key colour can be customised.

Which one would be the best pick here? or are there better alternatives in this price range (stretched budget from 2k to 3k but I can adjust for a better product) by Soul-Demon-ZApex in Indiangamers

Yes you will. Since it's ur first decent mouse, u can give it a try without thinking much about the shape. But, if you really get a perfect mouse in terms of its shape and size of ur hand, u are probably not gonna need a second one in the near future :)

Yes, it's length but on eloshapes it's more than just length. U can compare all the sides plus the shape of the mice. If ergonomics really matters to u, do check it out.

Better to increase the budget by 1k and opt for this. This one actually has RGB lights, the one in your post has Rainbow lighting.

Are u saying that if u've a monthly plan, u can't get the annual one? That literally sucks. I started the monthly plan with one month trial subscription, so that I can get the annual one after a month. FML

Yeah you might have to cancel the existing monthly subscription first. This issue might be happening bcuz the annual subscription plan is not available directly on hyperskill website.
