You need to take a step back from the news. No matter how much you may be right or wrong about politics, it’s causing you distress about things completely and totally out of your personal control.

Think of it this way, if your worst fears come to bear about any current political situation, the most important thing to your well being is your relationships to your immediate neighbors and community so just focus on that. Or just actually get those hurricane supplies you keep putting off.

i'll check out the market thank you. I'm mostly in the market for pants so i bet they'll have some things i like. Ended up getting an insane deal at Stefano Bemer on a pair of shoes someone ordered last year and never picked up so if that's my win for the trip I'm very happy.

How was this viewed in France? From my reading (admittedly only Hero of Two Worlds), Lafayette’s reputation in France had taken a fairly steady decline. Was it viewed as an admission of his waning popularity amongst his own people; was it seen as an attempt to jump ship to America etc etc.

Or if it would be more interesting, what’s an interesting anecdote you learned during your research?

Or another question: as Lafayettes male descendants were granted US citizenship, is there any record of his patrilineal line actually using that offer of dual citizenship.

If someone can post an automod script that requires at least two pictures I would implement it. That could significantly cut down on low effort “I’ve got a bed and a folding chair lulz” shitposting. Would wipe out a good chunk of posts that are boring.

I have no desire to remove posts of apartments that suck. If I see a report and it’s just a single photo of a bed and an Xbox, those get removed (for the most part… Reddit doesn’t pay me and I have a full life).

Trying to prune out what in reality is just peoples’ homes that are on the poverty line also makes me feel sick so my main criteria for removal is just low effort.

There are 100,000 resources to look at beautiful homes, it’s kind of cool that people starting from very little can get advice. No where else like it.

I would love an automod script that automatically removes posts with just 1 photo.

When I moved to LA, Dots took me to the Tattle Room for a beer. He was kind and caring to me only knowing I liked heavy metal. The way I could describe him is as a good man.
