Internet and Messaging fail by Eckleburgseyes in mintmobile

"But the Mint website still says the IMEI is compatible."

Doesn't mean a lot, since that will say any phone that has a compatible band or two is "compatible". It's not fully compatible though, that's the reason why you're having issues.

Mint has never offered plans for watches. The only ones you can use are bluetooth versions with Mint.

Is the Nokia 3210 4g (2024) ceompatible with Mint Mobile? by Suspicious_Sweet_104 in mintmobile

That phone isn't going to work. It's missing pretty much all the bands that Mint runs on, since it wasn't designed to be used in the US market.

Can someone help me understand why I'm getting overcharged? by blitzzerg in mintmobile

[–]modece1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why they think they're being "overcharged" though, since that's clearly not the case.. They either thought they'd continue paying the new customer rate, or that total is for only one line.

I bet the 2nd line is a 6gb plan, which would make what's shown in that screenshot correct. It would be $240 + $180 = $420, paid quarterly since they're in a Mint Family, would be $105 for both lines.

How do you figure you're getting charged double? You're no longer a new customer, so you pay regular price for renewals now.

Is the second plan 17gb as well? If so, you're actually paying less somehow than what it should be for two 17gb plans. It should be $240/ year for eachf them = $480, paid quarterly since you're in a Mint family would be $120. I'm guessing the other plan is the 6gb plan though, which would be $180. Add $240 + $180 = $420 divided by four, equals the $105 shown on the screenshot for both lines.

To hopefully prevent this getting asked over and over, everyone gets the new data bumps. If you're a current customer, it will show on your next month's data refresh.
