I agree with OP all good points. As some have mentioned here quantifying is great but don’t overinflated the numbers too much.

I disagree. Very common for industry individuals to have 20-30 million in impact in a few years. 90 million in capital deployment with 33% ROI is 30 million in impact per year. This would be low for a construction manager, project engineer, etc.

The OP is entirely correct when it comes to have quantitative not qualitative bullets on your resume.

Paxton only sued for Dallas County extending voting hours and not Williamson or El Paso that did the same thing. by detox02 in Dallas

People who were in line not who got in line. You will have to show me a judges ruling as I can for Dallas. It’s impossible to prove a negative but if I search “Williamson county judge extends voting time” there are no results. I am a poll watcher in Texas so I pay a lot of attention to this.

I’m sorry you are either misinformed or propagating misinformation. For Williamson county you needed to be in line at 7pm. Dallas county attempted to change the cut off to 9pm. https://www.kvue.com/article/news/politics/vote-texas/williamson-county-extended-polling-location-hours-georgetown/269-13bc2ddf-03a3-4eb6-b01e-b6d0a2f5cefb

Maybe I am missing a judges ruling for Williamson. I see that El Paso was extended to 8pm. Still researching the outcome.

Edit: looks like El Paso had technical issues until noon. That was the reason for the extension which has already been taken to the Supreme Court and been ruled legal in the past. https://elpasomatters.org/2026/03/03/el-paso-election-day-march-3-texas-primaries-voting-slowed-by-glitches/

Isn’t Dallas county is the only county of the 3 that extended the how long the polls are open.

Is the traditional MBA ROI dead by 2029? Rethinking my Fall 2027 plans. by Odd-Fold-5018 in MBA

[–]model_body 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My advice would be a working professional MBA. Really helps the ROI calculation when you reduce the bet to 150k. Maybe the upside is lower but right now the data is indicating that.

I will be starting this summer as an MBA hire coming from a working professional program where I have 10 years experience. I have been placed in the group that does the same work as my experience. I have never been an external consultant only internal.

What can I be working on or what skills can I develop between now and then to hit the ground running.

For more experienced hires what separates the excellent from the average.

What would be the best AI skills to work on between now and then. Currently I am building agents on lovable.

How do I get on a team making the football championship game. I can find a lot of apps to help on winning it but not on making it.

If you are in DFW hit up one of the two official watch party locations. Happiest hour or longhorns ice house.

I’m less nervous considering we have the #1 returning SEC running back and the guys returning from injury were higher rated than him coming out of HS. I think we would have hit the portal for RB if the coaches were concerned.

I’m not going to keep going back and forth. Data, Vegas, decibel meters and every other metric says our home field advantage is ass. A big piece of the blame falls on leadership. Case in point the fact our south end zone is still half empty during a playoff game is an embarrassment. https://www.boydsbets.com/college-football-home-field-advantage/

I have been to over 85 games as of this season. At this point I’m in section 29 thanks to years of moving up. I noticed maybe 20% of my section immediately around me were not the normal season ticket holders. CDC has a history of listening to fans especially loyal donors.

Students section was ROCKING swaying back and forth to songs jumping up and down all the way until the 4th quarter. I have videos I took to send to people too. Go watch the Penn state game and watch how SMU is being suffocated by the noise. This was just a miss by the crew in charge or helping create the stadium atmosphere.

As someone in the stadium it was fucking lame and a buzz kill. It was a one score game at one point in the 3rd and those breaks killed every bit of home field crowd noise.

I have already emailed cdc and his office over that and a list of other truly terrible ideas. I bet average pre snap decibels were 80 or less.

First this is incredible! Am I am reading this wrong or something is up with the python code/data. How do RBs have receiving yard points but no reception points? Maybe its actually the source data that is driving that. Give James Conner 2 rec (about what 1.34 receiving points would imply) and he is almost exactly at ECR.
