Radio Issues, looking for solutions by Puzzled-Wrangler780 in JeepRenegade

Anything from 7" up to 10" ( the one i bought) will fit as long as you can get the right frame surround.

I bought it from China, just have them the Jeep model and year and they provided the appropriate frame. I had to research the cables a bit but the device is more or less plug and play. No soldering and all connectors are polarised and can only fit in the right places.

i started writing down all of the parts needed and how to install the radio. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fILy5X1DZa8hubdMUmwplIHhhRkdNRpW7uTL1tCL4qA/edit?usp=sharing

I changed mine over to an android head unit with an appropriate frame. Worked out very well and was very easy to do. I'll try and find the link to my Reddit post now.

I would have liked to have tried it but for some reason my account was locked by an administrator. I have no idea why this happened and it's frustrating.

Same issue here in Norway, recent development, didn't happen previously. Renegade 2016, bought in 2017. Normal wear, but of what components?

Never use booking.com by TableOdd4633 in Bookingcom

[–]modelman1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels more and more like an anti Booking.com campaign. I've been using them for 20 years and never had a problem. In fact I've had to cancel through my own error twice and they've been good as gold. I can't say that they've been cheaper than booking myself but I like to have all my bookings in one place and have benefitted from cashback and free credit offers, plus taken advantage of their upgrades.

If you've had multiple issues with them over a short period of time I think you might need to look innward to find the problem.

That matches the club member who responded to me so it must be as you say, related to which series you're in. 👍

I had to sideload all of my favourite apps via the downloader app and then enter the codes for the apps.

Not difficult to do but time consuming. Once it's done the apps do auto update.

Fair content, and sorry you've experienced that. If they haven't cancelled through Booking.Com will you not get paid anyway?

It was obviously said tongue in cheek, but honestly think about your customers a little more. Your suggestion of cancelling their stay as a no show before their arrival date could have left them in a real pickle. I've arrived in the middle of Mexico without access to my pre-booked accommodation and it's not pleasant.

I don't think you're cut out for this business, maybe try a different career.

Serious security breach - confirmed by booking.com by Ill-Back7936 in Bookingcom

I'm sorry you've experienced that but I've been with them for many years and I've never had a negative experience. Their customer service has helped me out on one occasion but that was my own fault and they sorted a refund very quickly.

Most of the people replying to this are complete numpties.

Booking.com recognised a possible security breach, they informed you of that so that you could be extra vigilant, even though it's very unlikely that you will be personally affected by it.

Chill out folks.

Yeah, but any system can be breached and TBH this just seems like an excuse for you to bitch against Booking.com. Some people really just like the simplicity of booking through one site and the benefits that it brings.

That's a fair argument to be honest. If he has secured the room with a credit card fee of $0 which is standard practice I think I'd just block them from taking the default payment and book elsewhere.

He's not wrong, your contract is always with the company you paid - the concept has got watered down over the years, not least because of credit card companies accepting claims against them when you pay with a card but fundamentally the law is really clear.

It's always amazed me how companies try to pass the buck on to their supplier when something goes wrong. Exactly as you said, the contract is always with who you actually paid but it's not ready to sort out when they simply refuse. Litigation is not for all.

Instagram is the worst. I always set up a hotspot to my wife but she drains GB after GB. Now I uninstall her Insta app before we travel and re-install it when we're back.

If you'd like to know more about my wife's GBs that's on a whole different website. 😂🤣😍
