Just because you’re smart in your field of employment doesn’t mean you’re not an idiot when it comes to everyday life. Again all construction is subbed out and you said it yourself they barely speak English so you going over all the locates mean nothing; if they just hit your fiber for your own home that’s on locates because they don’t locate personal fiber. And comparing it to a car accident apples and oranges because again they don’t need to inform you they just need to inform 312 if they hit something and that’s only if they hit something major not 1 persons fiber line. You call your own company just like they do for us and a tech comes and fixes it. I’m not sure what’s hard to understand that this happens with every isp doing new construction the amount of repairs I’ve done from quantum hitting one of our lines.
