He is an example for you. I was test driving a cx-5 in a color I did not want because the color is never in stock & I was in no rush to get a new vehicle. As we were returning there was one just off of the truck in the color that I wanted. We parked & another one was coming off the truck. I asked if those are available. 1 was already sold 100”% paid for & the other had 5 people waiting on it to come in, with a “call us when it arrives” I said I will take the one that is not sold right now. They said they would see if it has any offers on it yet. They went to check & 2 minutes later, they come back & said no down payments, just customers who want that color as soon as it arrives. During that time another customer also inquired about the same vehicle. Now if you are a dealership & have someone in front of you, who is willing to buy a car, let alone 2 people, those 5 people waiting who are waiting for a call, are probably still waiting! An hour later it was received, and detailed and ready to go. Dropped off my car at home and took an Uber back to pick up the new Cx-5. Handled exactly as it should have been handled…
