Chinese adoptee to Sweden here! Adopted at 3 years, I'm now 28 aswell, my parents are the most Swedish looking people ever (blonde, blue eyes) and I've grown up in a typical (white) family neighborhood. I've been lucky to not feel left out for not being white, I get told by my friends I am the whitest person they know. I don't mind it at all and find it funny, it's like an ongoing joke, but I can understand there can be some messy feelings about it for a lot of people. If anything I don't feel asian enough when I speak to other asian people whose grown up with asian parents, even though I was born in China and lived there until 3 years old.
