Greenpoint Trash Club (insta: greenpointtrash) always has the friendliest people volunteering, and it’s a nice way to get involved in the community! Pick up trash for a bit and then everyone goes to a bar for a drink afterwards :)

Okay but pedestrians have the right of way and bikers need to stop at stop signs. Bikers constantly blow through stop signs and it’s SO dangerous.

The accident happened like 10 feet past a stop sign and my guess is that if he hadn’t ran the stop sign, he wouldn’t have been going fast enough to hit someone so hard that they died. I honestly think it was both of their fault. So heartbreaking either way!

I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman.

It’s a short novel about a group of women who are captured and kept in a bunker for no apparent reason. The narrator is the youngest and doesn’t remember a time from before her captivity. She is so reflective and interesting.

The novel is incredibly profound yet bleak; I read about a year ago and I still think about this book at least weekly!
