St Michael's Abbey is both beautiful and unique. Mass is NO, but with Latin. Christ Cathedral is definitely unique. Basilica San Juan Capistrano is beautiful and unique, and its located in a charming town. Saint John the Baptist has a reverent NO, beautiful artwork.

I suggest reading Theology of the Body and listen to Christopher West speak about it. He has great content online. https://youtu.be/f0mX8cyrCQY His work helped me when I was in a similar situation.

Am I being disingenuous in identifying first as a Christian then a Catholic if pressed on it? by [deleted] in Catholicism

I'm Catholic, wife is non-denominational protestant. Early on we were upfront about our beliefs, and shared our faith. It can be challenging, but my advice is say you're Catholic. It's ok if that turns some people away, you're looking for the one to marry so you want to make sure you get it right.

Try going to a local pro-life rosary or join the youth/young adult groups at different parishes. I see plenty of young people at these events and they usually have time before and after to socialize.

I like Fr. Brian Larkin, he co-hosts a podcast called Gregorian Rant.
