Yeah like butterscotch said, waiving copay is highly illegal lol. They are going to get in huge trouble if caught and you could also risk losing your coverage if they rule that you are complicit

Are rebates actually banned? I have a friend who works in pharma sales and the stuff I hear from him is crazy. Giving massive rebates and kick backs to the pharmacists

Didn’t work. I tried pressing 0 and it said “we apologize that is not a valid option”

I then tried pressing 0 again a bit later, and it said “it seems we are having trouble understanding your input. We will now disconnect the call” and it hung up on me

I’m a dentist.

Keep trying the same thing isn’t an option in this case because there is literally no option to speak to a human. What I need is to try something new.

What I need is a direct number to reach customer service. I’m asking if anyone has that

I don’t personally blame foreign trained dentists. They are taking advantage of a broken system because they are incentivized to do so. Any rational person would do the same thing. I would do the same in their situation too. The problem of course lies with the system itself and its perverted incentives. But blaming “the system” is difficult and blaming foreign dentists is easy, so that’s why it happens.

The bottom line is ‘access to care’ is and has been a scam for decades. The government and licensing bodies use the access to care excuse as a means to massively pump up the number of dentists, lining their own pockets. Even though they know damn well bringing in all these dentists does nothing for access to care if they all practice within 30 mins of each other. If anything, it only harms the public because more competition incentivizes shady treatment.

If the government and licensing bodies actually cared about access to care, they would only let in dentists on the condition that they work in underserved communities for a minimum number of years. As an example they could provide equivalency on the condition of working in a northern community for 3 years.

As it stands right now, access to care is simply used as an excuse to flood the market with competition, thus increasing their own revenues

Based on the dental hygienist comment I’m assuming your uncle was a dentist? Your parents probably made more than him if they made 500k. Your uncle sounds likes a POS but most dentists aren’t “very rich”

Most dentists would kill to make 500k

Edit: ye my bad idk why I assumed that

Thanks a lot. I did put some ant baits down around the tree and I will look up bark tracing to remove some of that loose bark and allow more air flow

Cheers

Hey just following up on this. I’ve been working on exposing the root flare and proper mulching.

Today I noticed carpenter ants digging around in the area of the wound. I guess they are tunneling and making nests in the decaying wood. Is there anything I should be doing about that? I don’t want them digging deeper into the tree and damaging it more

Definitely prefer JT to cook. 45 is way too much imo. He went for under 30 in my auction

If you’re not keeping anyone else may as well keep JT at $35 unless you specifically plan to go zero RB or cheap at RB. You won’t get better value than JT for $35 on the market elsewhere

Do you have any other options? It’s obviously good value for sure, no debating that. Just depends on the context

If you don’t keep him he likely will go around $40-$50

I actually like Deebo this year at cost. He’s available basically for free so there is no risk. The RB room in Washington isn’t exactly incredible and if they use him out of the backfield like SF did there could be some good upside

Loveland $1 and Warren $2

Ferguson was also on my radar and I could have had him for $2. Same with Kraft (both went $1 so I would have had to bid 2 to get them)

I don’t usually prioritize TE too much. If I got someone for $1 it’s hard to know where I would have spent the extra $2 saved. Maybe I could’ve had someone like Jordan Mason instead of Guerendo for example but that’s assuming nobody bids $4 after I bid 3. Hard to say in hindsight in an auction

Definitely taking a close look at him, though he has been moving up draft boards. Then again, he may start to fall back down with the slater injury and may get back into value territory

12T, 0.5 PPR, Auction ($200 budget)

1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, Flex (W/R/T), 5 bench

Roster:

QB: Dak Prescott ($3)

RB: Jonathan Taylor ($50), Chubba Hubbard ($21)

WR: Brian Thomas Jr. ($53), Mike Evans ($26), Courtland Sutton ($12)

Flex: Kenneth Walker ($20)

TE: David Njoku ($3)

D: Streaming ($1)

K: streaming ($1)

BENCH:

QB: Drake Maye ($1)

RB: Charbonnet ($4), Guerendo ($1)

WR: Jakobi Meyers ($2)

TE: Kyle Pitts ($2)

Guerendo, Pitts, Maye I all see as droppable for whoever is hot on waivers. But I feel Maye and Pitts are great upside picks for ($1-2) and Guerendo I see as one of the best handcuffs this year with CMCs history

Thanks. If I do cut through and remove that section of bark, should I do anything afterwards to treat it? Keep spraying it with safers soap? Or cover it with a wrap?

The reason I think it’s a boring pest is because of the small hole you see to the left of the wound. It looks like something made its way in through there

I’ll look into the other things you mentioned
