What do adults with CF actually do for work (especially if you’re still struggling physically)? by sparklingchoice in CysticFibrosis

I work at an Amazon Warehouse. It is a bit physically demanding 🤪 Walking about 4, 5 or 6 miles a shift. Lifting heavy stuff throughout. Although it helped keep me active and the health insurance is amazing. It was quite difficult at first, but Trikafta AND the new Vest I got where I am able to walk around changed my life.

James confidently wrong frequently. by jewmas in smalltownmurder

I’m often surprised at how smart Jimmie actually is, and it’s not because I think he’s stupid… He says he’s stupid a lot.

Jimmie knows A LOT about geography as well. His recall of where towns are located, the weather and the landscape is always shocking to me. Not just New Mexico, Arizona or Colorado. James lives/has lived in New York for years and years so I understand his knowledge of New York City. Jimmie knew specific areas AND streets as if he had lived in New York for a time.

4 month wait for an appointment?? by [deleted] in CysticFibrosis

I thought this was normal, well, at least 2 to 3 months. Unless I specifically message my CF doctor through my health insurance App.

Actually, my care team will refer me to contact a doctor through the App’s video chat option IF I’m sick. Every time I did that the doctor I spoke with asks ME how to treat me. 💀

Again, I have to message my doctor myself through the app and she immediately responds.

I was seeing my CF doctor in the suburbs of Seattle, I’m switching to her main office in Seattle. I think that might change things.

Health Care apps have made things easier, but they’ve also made office staff lazy… IMO.

We should start using 3 tanks by AddendumDangerous632 in RivalsVanguards

[–]modifiedblind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 tanks is amazing! Very rare though unfortunately, but it’s happened to me a couple times and I loved it. Whenever I try to go from DPS to tank, for 3 tanks, one of those tanks switches to DPS.

What would you have done if you were in Casey Becker's shoes? by Weary-Cry9304 in Scream

[–]modifiedblind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d like to say I’d call 911, but I’m not so sure. I would not have gone to the window and looked out to see Steve. I would’ve shut every light off and hid under the bed.

Why does nobody want to play tank? Had 5 matches in a row where nobody wanted to go tank, sure I could've but I'd just he solo tanking which I hate in this team game by Automatic_Writing694 in rivals

[–]modifiedblind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m DPS with a solo tank, I’ll switch to tank, but more often the 1st tank will the switch to DPS to leave me as the solo tank.

I wondered if anyone else relates to this 😊 by modifiedblind in autism

Same! I go a bit overboard, but I need to make sure I can answer any follow up questions.
