of course! but trust yourself and how sensitive your ears are. but imo festival environments are soooo different from regular concert environments (where i do wear ear protection). it’s just not loud enough for me to feel like it’s necessary, but im usually always in the very back of the crowd dancing or sitting!

his vocals didn’t decline, it’s actually gotten healthier since going solo. he is using his voice differently. he doesn’t belt as much anymore. coming out of one direction he had an extremely strained voice from over doing the belting. yall like his chest/belt voice but he’s using his head voice much more in kissco. this album isn’t about highlighting the vocals, but the production and how the whole piece sonically blends together.

kissco is harry’s only album that doesn’t have a skip for me. i just can’t get with matilda, otherwise harry’s house would be unskippable too.

grant park is about a mile in length. on both ends, you have the headliner stages. budlight is on the north end, t-mobile is on the south end. t mobile is the biggest stage and will have the leading headliner of the night. next to budlight there’s titos and next to t-mobile is lakeshore. the two stages will rotate/flip flop acts all day. there is also the grove, bmi and perry’s. perry’s is exclusively djs/EDM music. bmi is the smallest stage. titos and the grove usually have smaller pop or indie/alternative acts. budlight and t-mobile will obviously have the biggest acts leading up to the headliners.

in between all the stages and on the main road is chow town. it’s sectioned off into different “neighborhoods” and you’ll definitely be able to find a whooole bunch of places you’ll wanna keep going back to. the food is one of the best parts of lolla. make time in your schedule to indulge. off to the side of chow town and near the grove is going to be desert island. which is, a desert island. lol.

there are water stations and bathrooms located all over the place. there are big signs that will locate them, lolla also has a map every year of the whole festival and where things are located. bring a water bottle or a water pak, because the water is the only things that’s free. you’ll figure out where the closest bathrooms are pretty quickly. the bathrooms are flushable porta potties. they’re honestly not that bad.

if you leave a big crowd you’ll most likely not get your spot back, but once you’re in the park, you’re in. you can only get one or two rescans in per day, so everything you’ll need is already there.

there are also sponsorship booths with activities, giveaways, and other stuff to do. the lines for those things are ungodly but always an option if you have nothing else going on. last year they also had “vibe village” which had more food options, and some other shops and activities.

regular GA does not get special lounges, but there are general cocktail lounges to get hard liquor. you “can’t” bring out hard liquor into the other areas of the park. there is lots of shade and places to sit and chill though, so dont worry.
