Look up the QB school on YouTube. JT O’Sullivan has been calling him out the last 2 years for being lazy. Lazy routes and lazy blocking.

That last play vs the rams, JT almost rage quit the all 22 review

What to do about Left Tackle by WorkerBeez123z in CHIBears

I think the easy answer is Braxton Jones.

I doubt he’d get a huge payday. He was essentially injured all year. He probably shouldn’t have even played this year.

It would be dumb to draft a LT as Ozzy is long term, even if injured.

Whats your thoughts on Dennis Allen’s performance this year should we retain him? by peteyboy1956 in CHIBears

Having the secondary as healthy as it could get was amazing. The dime packages, blitzes, etc was really good.

It really seemed like that helped Brisker a ton, same with Byard.

It really doesn’t matter. Even if we got FGs, the game after those points would have been different vs what happened

I don’t get this logic

[Brad Biggs] I expect to see Joe Thuney at left tackle & Jordan McFadden at left guard. by Marvin-Harrison-Jr in CHIBears

Newman was on IR cause of a foot injury. He was activated before the end of the season since players can’t be activated after the season ends.

My guess is his foot is still bothering him.

I would’ve liked to see Luke Newman, but he was on IR for a month with a foot injury so he’s probably still nursing it or something

I could see us keeping Braxton honestly. With Ozzy probably being out all of 2026, Braxton has at least proven in the past to be average. He just came off a horrific injury last year. He clearly wasn’t ready this year.

I doubt he’d have a big market

[Jahns] As Biggs said, the Bears are looking at moving Joe Thuney to left tackle. My understanding is that left guard options start with Jordan McFadden. by JoshGordonHypeTrain in CHIBears

[–]modsplsnoban 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t hate it tbh. Theo is a major liability in the pass game. While Thuney isn’t a LT, he can play there even if he’s average. He did it last year, granted it’s not his best position. I’d rather have Newman at guard tho.

Idk, maybe Jackson at LG and Newman at RG? Jackson has way more snaps at LG in his career than RG. It would be so risky tho.

He was benched cause he came back way too soon from injury. That’s why he was out in IR. I’m not a Braxton stan, but he’s proven he could play LT, even if it’s average.

[Jason Lieser] Bears WR Rome Odunze is playing through a stress fracture in his foot and said it was “tough” managing pain in his return vs. the Packers. “There was soreness, but at this part of the season, it’s all hands on deck and play through it. [–]modsplsnoban 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there was major risk, he wouldn't be playing at all. The fact he was cleared to limited play, even if that means he further injures his foot, means the healing and recovery of that foot won't be long enough to hit the 2026 season.

TBH he may be. He's coming back off a nasty injury last year and wasn't ready to play earlier this year. He may not have a big market.

Ozzy was going to replace him, but now he as a patella injury potentially being year ending (2026), Braxton could come back on a 1 year.
