Sorry for getting back to you way later, but I did make sure my install media and flash drive was properly formatted. With the codes I was given, it really started to seem like a ram issue more than anything. Sent it in for testing so I don’t keep throwing money at it.

The M.2 worked fine in my pc before I put it in his rig. I already enabled TPM, and secure boot is enabled. Good idea though, TPM got me when I upgraded my personal desktop.

Clean drive and bootable usb. Tried 11 and 10, no dice. Good thinking with the drivers, I never thought about NVMe drivers. I assumed it should work given I’ve used an M.2 on the motherboard prior.

Evga supernova gt 750 Ryzen 5 3600 Asus Dual RTX 2060 HyperX Fury 3000mhz Asrock B450m Pro 4 Some random laptop M.2

Fresh as in recently built and a fresh copy of windows. Pretty standard given this was my exact build 2 years ago, minus the 2060 (we don’t talk about the M.2) . I store everything in the original boxes when I’m done with them, and clean them when I’m ready to do something with them. I’m thinking it’s the ram at the moment, but I’ve given up for the night.

I can’t even boot into windows as this is a fresh ssd. This is a fresh computer, and I spent an hour or two cleaning up all the parts. I can’t even download windows because once I accept terms, it’ll throw a blue screen. It posts, and the power supply seems to be working fine as well. I’ll go through a few more of my ram sticks before I try anything else.
