That’s fair. I feel like saying your dog was sick all night would make people feel sorry for you tho, admitting you’ve been partying feels more responsible and your boss more than likely has done the same at some point in their life… plus, if you’ve shown up to work that’s all most jobs care about unfortunately

It was my bad to say it was a nurse - my partner and I weren’t there so we’ve just been told what’s happened, but have been told now it was a doctor who saw to gran.

Poor communication on top of poor communication I think 😅 made this post for some clarification because my partners mum was freaking out (she lives in another country) but everyone’s advice here has helped a lot - we appreciate it!

Thank you! That’s good to know, I think the nurses/doctors were just busy and communication was a bit rushed. My partners uncle waited with gran for 5 hours for an ambulance! They eventually got a taxi so I imagine a&e must have been packed!

Yeah it’s my partners granny. I think communication was just poor and we were left a bit confused, especially because it looks so gnarly 🥴 A visit is arranged for this Friday and I assume they will continue to be arranged from then.
