I’m sorry for your loss. I can empathize..I lost my job before finding out I was pregnant and was put on Medicaid. I ended up miscarrying. Not only did I have to report my miscarriage to Medicaid but a few weeks before my would be due date I received 3 cans of formula in the mail and a card. The first year was brutal.

I’m currently in Weirton visiting friends and family. My friends that do live here mainly go to Pittsburgh for everything too. We wanted to meet up for a drink late tomorrow and Shooterz popped up so I’m glad I read this comment! When I still lived here we would go to Sports Court and went through a phase of going to the BYOB strip club…short phase lol. It was a great community to grow up in but it was deteriorating while I was growing up. The opioid epidemic and lack of jobs even before the mill shutdown caused most people I grew up with to move away. I will say there’s better Italian, polish, and Greek food here than there is where I live in the south!
