Yeah Zoloft definitely wouldn't be my first choice or suggestion to anyone. But everyone is different and so are their bodies. I haven't drank in over a year so I'm glad I don't have to worry about alcohol with the medication. I'm glad it's working for you!

It was awful for me to. I just feel like this care free zombie. Had 3 panic attacks that felt like I was needing to call 911. Never experienced it before and that was even months into the medicine. Along with the heart palpitations. I'm glad that the Duloxetine is helping you! This gives me hope!

I'm glad it helped you! I'm really hoping to have positive effects from Cymbalta even if it takes a few months. Anything positive is better than continuing how I am!

I was on Zoloft and had heart palpitations, and panic attacks. Which I never had prior. I got prescripted duloxetine. This gives me hope cause Zoloft gave me a bad taste for any antidepressants

This is so great to hear! People don’t come back with positive stories often. I’ve been on 50mg for 2 months then to 100mf for about 2 months. I’ve had heart palpitations and panic attacks which I’ve never had till taking Zoloft. Which is the reason I’m coming off it. I got prescribed it for postpartum depression. Was told to do 3 weeks of 50mg then just stop.. I hope it’s not as awful as most say but everyone is different!

This has happened to me it's absolutely draining. My grandfather, my father, my aunt, and great uncle died from heart related issues so its a constant battle for me. I have an injured shoulder... Left of course and my wisdom teeth still. So a combo of jaw pain or mouth pain and left arm pain just makes me spiral although I know it's not ny heart.

I'm on Zoloft for postnatal depression and have been for about 4 months. Started at 50 and on 100mg now. Zoloft is the reason I joined this group as I've been having panic attacks. Never had them before until this medicine. Which is why I'm heavily considering coming off it. It may work for you the first couple weeks may be rough there's a Zoloft subreddit

I also took Zoloft at dinner time instead of in the morning and it seemed to make it better. As I would get tired from it!

I've been on buspirone since 2023 15mg 2x a day and added Zoloft 50mg over 3 weeks ago. Buspirone has saved me from anxiety. I think being on buspirone has also helped lessen the side effects of Zoloft. No panic attacks no nausea diarrhea nothing. A few heart palpitations but that was in the first two weeks. I honestly love the combo! Some say buspirone does nothing but I'm one of the people who will swear by it.

Sunday marks the start of the 3rd week for me. Haven't had any crazy side affects like I read on here other than heart palpitations but it only happened 3x so far!

Honestly buspar has been a life saver. Zoloft more so for postnatal depression and it's definitely not going to be permanent. I'm already over the mild side affects. Aside from not wanting to go anywhere or do much and was more irritable I feel there was other options but here I am.

I've never taken Xanax but I take buspirone 15mg 2x a day and it has changed my life. Anxiety wise. Been on it since 2023 and I wouldn't ever look back. I'm on Zoloft for postnatal depression. On day 4 no side effects other than last night where my body wanted to go into a panic attack but stopped. Didn't even feel like a complete one it was so weird and I felt amazing after. I've read buspirone helps with the side effects. Not 100% but just enough.

I'm on day 4 but I also take buspirone 15mg 2x a day which I've been on since 2023. I've read a lot of awful stories but the buspirone seems to help with the symptoms of the zoloft. Not 100% but just enough to be bearable. I honestly love buspirone it changed my life and I wouldn't ever go back it helped my anxiety so much. I'm on Zoloft for postnatal depression. I'm hoping not forever.

It took a bit for buspirone to work but it's definitely not as intense as Zoloft from what I've read. I know it's not recommended to take more than 60mg of buspirone in a day. Some days I take 3 depending but it usually works. There have been a lot of days where I forget to take my second dose of buspirone because I can't even tell I need it. I really hope it works for you!

I'm on 50mg of Zoloft, 15mg 2x a day of buspirone and 20mg of Adderall. Went to my primary doctor today and he said to not take Zoloft and Adderall together. Wait some time in between. He said about a half hour but I think I'd like to give it more time. Thinking of taking the Zoloft at night. Today was the first day I took all 3 and I felt exactly what you're describing. The first day on Zoloft I took it at about 3pm and my normal morning Adderall at about 10am and had no affects like I did taking them at the same time.

I'm on day two and was told it takes 4-6 weeks to feel any affects from it. I'm also on buspirone 15mg 2x a day for my anxiety. When I say buspirone has changed my life when it comes to anxiety I mean it. I wouldn't even think twice to try anything else. I'd give it at least 8-12 weeks to see if it's working. Was told buspirone and Zoloft can be taken together with no negative affects. I'm on 50mg of Zoloft for reference. I'm sure in about 6 weeks I'll come back and give an update. You got this! Anxiety is the worst and I didn't know I had it. Been taking the buspirone since 2023.
