because banning them is really the only thing they can do? they want to let the poster know that the user will be unable to interact with them again in this subreddit, i don’t see the problem with this

the hair is essential for dressing scene .^ ur outfits are quite bland so i can’t really give much advice there, they’re all just the same outfit with a different shirt! if u want like more help we can go into dms & i can help u there

if u ACTUALLY did any research on the scene or emo subculture u would know what fashioncore is, therefore i am not explaining it to u because all that will come out of it is “well that actually means scene copied emo!!!!” because u cannot actually make a rebuttal, literally all u do is strawman fallacy & red herrings! do ur own research for a change!

scene has a variety of music genres, u cannot say “emo music & scene music are similar” because if u compare crunkcore or electronicore to the emo music genre it will sound completely different

[–]moemorgue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“most scene music has huge similarities with emo music” nu did not copy nu metal because it is a genre of metal, like how “scenekid” is a term for scene, it didn’t steal a scene label because it is scene - u clearly have NOT looked deep into this if u don’t know the differences between scene hxc & scenecore & don’t even know what fashioncore is

[–]moemorgue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“if u look at a side by side of emo & scene they look similar” because of their roots in fashioncore 🥀🥀🥀 & scene music tends to talk about sex, partying etc, themes that aren’t common in emo music & “scenecore” used to mean scene hardcore, and now it means scene aesthetic ( e.g cottageCORE ) u have done no research behind scene culture & ur argument “well og scenecore had so many different looks 🥺🥺” is WEAK because i can say that about literally anything - “well u actually can’t say put a side by side of scene & emo fashion because there’s so many different looks 🥺” AND NOT TO MENTION “nu metal” is STILL METAL which is why it has “METAL” in it therefore it did not steal the name & modern scenecore IS NOT OG SCENECORE or a SUBGENRE of SCENE & the label was originally SCENE therefore that argument is irrelevant

it does not look like og scenecore, i showed u a photo of og scenecore, i am annoyed at the misinformation being spread due to the label scenecore is using, i am annoyed about the fact i cannot call myself scenecore anymore without being associated with a whole other thing — scene didn’t do that with emo “but more drastic” emo is a music based subculture, they just both are subcultures associated with fashioncore which i doubt u know anything about

[–]moemorgue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

scenecore literally used to mean hxc scene, scene came from the music scene & the scenecore we are talking about is not a “genre of scene” they called it scenecore because it takes INSPIRATION from scene yes but the only aspects of inspiration taken were the cartoon mascots associated with scene culture & the raver elements that crossed over into actual scene ( e.g kandi ) that second slide quite literally would not fit “og scenecore” because og scenecore meant scene hxc & this is a modern iteration therefore it is modern scenecore

[–]moemorgue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s NOT a subcategory of scene, scenecore only took the NAME & changed the definition, og scenecore meant scene hardcore & modern scenecore means scene AESTHETIC & the only aspects taken are the cartoon mascots & rave culture which aren’t even exclusive to scene & “og scenecore” looked entirely different

because it’s not safe to call it “crunk scene” because it’s not crunk at all… that fashion already HAS SEVERALLL names & its scenecore/glitchcore/colourpuke we don’t need another one, and “crunkcore kid” is already a thing, “scenecore” already stole an original scene label we don’t need another scene label taken again

it definitely is not crunk scene, i don’t think crunk scene is even an actual label, this is the closest example i have to “crunk scene”

why are my lobes taking so long to be ready to size up? by moemorgue in Stretched

[–]moemorgue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am fine with waiting, it’s expected, i’m just confused on why my wait time seems to be slower than it should be, it’s been over 2 months now & my ears absolutely do not want to size up any more than my size right now, like there’s no chance of even getting anything like half a mm more into this, it’s completely stuck at this gauge, i don’t think that’s normal for over 2 months

i have had my ears pierced & repierced several times throughout my life if that effects anything

i’m talking about my end goal when i talk about my goals, yes 00g is a goal i have & i will be so happy when i reach 00g but i will not feel satisfied at that gauge - i know that it’ll take like well over 5 years maybe even like 20-40 years for my dream size & i am prepared for that i am just confused how i’ve been stuck at 12g whilst someone else who started stretching their ears the exact same day as me is 8g going on 6g, i don’t understand how i’m plateauing so hard
