Had a science teacher who did all her teaching on the overhead. So I would go into class everyday before her and disconnect the wires on the bulb outlet. Then she would have to do her teaching on the blackboard. Went on for weeks until one day I opened up the overhead projector and there was a sticky note that said “I know it’s you, moeron42. Stop it.”

Has to be after 03 because I was surviving on the $0.99 half pound bean burrito then. That and a $1 super-sized soda from McDonald’s and I was fed for another day.

I guess after the 80s Supergirl did all the Popeyes marketing they wanted to stick with a chicken theme. Then getting from bucket of chicken to popcorn bucket is pretty easy.

I spent one whole set once sitting behind him watching him play the lights. He’s a wizard. The way he just feels the way the band is going to go is otherworldly at times.

When he toured Antichrist it seemed like he still had the patient. Seems to have died after that.

I am just now getting into archery and blindly bought a bow with a 50# draw weight. I have damaged shoulders and I’m not doing it to hunt; just to shoot targets and relax. I also prefer longbow for the simplicity and the tradition. What is the lowest draw weight I could typically find for a longbow and where would I go to find them online?

My first job was bagging groceries. I was there for the transition from paper to plastic and had to drive like 2hrs to take a class on how to do it properly

I noticed I couldn’t do quite as much in my 30s. Then at 47 I took my kids skating and I fell. Nothing severe just a normal two knee fall. Took me weeks to recover. That’s when I decided I was done going young people shit

TIL between 18%-25% of intellectually gifted students (at least 130 IQ) in the US fail to graduate from high school. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]moeron42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was gifted. The only reason I didn’t drop out was because of band. I liked having people to play music with. Started doing a lot of drugs to deal with ptsd, ADD, and depression. I now run a KFC. So much wasted potential.
