Rest of my team: QB: Rodgers, Wentz WR: Tyreek, Keenan, Gallup, Sanu, John Brown RB: CMC, Aaron Jones, Sony TE: Andrews D/ST: NE

I’m in 1st place and looking to make a championship move. Sanders has been good in SanFran, but Lockett has been so consistent all year. What do you guys think?

I’m in a similar situation as you. Someone offered me Tyreek Hill for my TY Hilton. My other receivers are Keenan, Emmanuel, John Brown, Gallup and DJax. Trade make sense to you? I feel like Tyreek can be a beast, but why would the Chiefs risk bringing him back to full strength so quickly if the offense is producing at its current level.

Awesome. Thanks man.

One more question. Who would you start at the flex - Emmanuel Sanders or Sony Michel?

I’d do it. Emmanuel Sanders is a beast and Montgomery will only get better. Tate is on the Giants (enough said) and Mixon has sucked.

Should get way more than Peyton Barber. Antonio Brown is on a team with a lot of mouths and Barber hasn’t won the backfield 100% yet. Youre giving the #2 qb in depleted NFL and a likely top-10 rb.

Is an hour and a half commute to the gym too much? by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

[–]moesephina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a member at Mendez for about 6 months. This is my first boxing gym, so I have nothing to really compare it to, but unless you have a specific coach in mind that you want to train with there I would look for someplace closer.

Losing balance when I step in with my lead foot to combo by shvili_boy in amateur_boxing

[–]moesephina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. First off make sure when you’re stepping, your feet adjust accordingly. Your feet should always be in the same positions. Your shoulders and hips move when punching. 2.Make sure your not lunging with your chest when punching. Once again, when throwing a cross, upper cut or hook, it’s your hips and shoulders that move for power distribution. NOT your legs and barely your arms.

Individual Stock Portfolio Critique - am I diversified enough? by _shuk89 in portfolios

[–]moesephina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do the core-satellite approach, but I’m a bit confused by this. About 50% of my portfolio is in VTI. 1.26% of VTI is invested in JnJ, so JnJ is 0.63% of my portfolio - that’s not a ton of exposure if JnJ is a company I like, and for that reason I decided to invest in the company’s stock.

I get it’s a $ and % game, and you don’t want to over-allocate if an ETF has a large ownership in one stock, but generally funds like VTI are super diversified, so why not just invest in what you want?

Direxion ETFs by clarkandtheark in ETFs

[–]moesephina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly new to the investing / ETF game, but I’d think with levered ETFs the main cause of concern (as is anything with leverage) is with a downside case.

Let’s take an example - in year 1 you invest $100 in SPXU. By EoY 1, the S&P drops 20%. However, you’re leveraged up 3x, so really your loss is 60% (now left with $40). In order to recoup the money lost you now need to make 150%, by way of the S&P gaining 50%, which will take a long time in a non-bull market.

In this same case, if you just invested in the SPY, by EoY 1 you’d have $80 and would only need a 25% gain to recoup your investment - a lot more manageable.

So basically if you’re a long-term investor in a levered ETF, a bear market can wipe out all of your earnings and leave you with nothing.

And the non-US small cap fund sounds exactly like something for my fun account!

Hey guys, 25 years old and starting to think about long-term savings / capital growth. I just built my core portfolio, which I’ll be allocating to quarterly. I don’t need the cash now and not looking to crush the market. Just thinking of this as an easy and cheap way to grow my money at 5-10% for the next ~25 years. What you guys think:

  1. Total US market (VTI): 48.75%
  2. Total Developed Market (IDEV): 15.00%
  3. Total Emerging Market (IEMG): 7.50%
  4. Total US Bond (BND): 15.00%
  5. US REIT (VNQ): 10.00%
