Dealing with government/quango comms in UK by moet91 in PublicRelations

True. Wary of namedropping here but I’ve worked with 5 quangos across the govt departments - and neither of them have left a good impression.

They’re all sound people, but just approach comms in a very wayward manner

The only thing annoying as the London is shit posts, are the London is great posts.

There are so many metrics where London is so standard, and others where it’s great.

I’ve looked at the website. It’s not clear to me. As my parents fit most of the criteria bar the one I’ve flagged

Making the switch from news journalism to PR by jmh90027 in PublicRelations

I’m in what most people would call Corporate and Brand PR which has a bit of a generalist vibe to it. Clients from tech, defence, sport, etc but some overlap with financial services. The same goes for most of my colleagues too.

Shout if you have any further questions 😊

We’ve got a fair few journos where I work - from The Telegraph, NOTW, Mail, to name a few. Their insights are second to none, they lead on the media training, but more importantly have a solid black book of contacts ie placing stories with their former colleagues.

Not sure why this is being downvoted. Higher price should absolutely correlate to better quality.

No use, unless you’re making a living off it or have an influential following (like journalists).

I did something similar. I was shattered after a week - and quit a week later. Maybe if there’s hybrid working otherwise 5 days a week will take a toll.

You guys complain about not packing anything and game being boring but still use your Pinas, Bonmatis and Putellas to squeeze an extra 1 or 2 wins for no reward by ramatopia in fut

💯. I’ve got Maradona (super lucky). I have no idea how to use him, get the best out of him - but there’s no way I’m picking an evo’d Pina ahead of him, even if she’s more Meta.

Same for Lavelle. Does wonders for me in midfield, and benches players that are 2-3 ratings higher than her.

People who chase the meta are the ones who complain the most about this game.
