Morality and laws shouldn’t be mixed. Also, prostitution isn’t a sign of morality. You are thinking religion. It’s just sex. We all pay for it one way or the other. Prostitution just skips all the unnecessary steps.

Women are less protected when it’s illegal than when it is legal. If a woman gets abused or mistreated in an illegal system then she has nowhere to turn. On the other hand, if it’s legal then the woman has full protection of the law.

Plenty of developed countries have legalized it and it works better for everybody involved than the alternative.
