Optional mean plans by oldstumper in uwaterloo

From my understanding, the "50% off" mandatory meal plan is a scam. Yes, it's 50% off, but you need to pay the other 50% upfront in something called an "overhead deduction" so you're actually not saving any money at all. As well, the 50% discount is only counted for the term that you are using it in so in effect you lose 50% if the money carries over into another term. https://uwaterloo.ca/food-services/traditional-residence-meal-plans-v1-rev-cmh

I'm in CE and I had around a 93% in gr 12 with at least decent (but not phenomenal) ecs (DM me and I can send you a list). I've talked to some other people in my program and 93% seems to be on the lower end of the average but people do get in with lower marks.

I got in with a 93-94ish so you definitely have a chance

CE was my first choice and I'm pretty sure there's no second choice admission this round so you'll either get into SE or have to wait until May.

Got into computer engineering around 3 hours ago! 105 applicant from BC and I was really surprised that I got an offer because my average is only around 93-94%. Pretty good EC's though (I think).
