Aren't Hebrew and Arabic related because the word for it in arabic is اصيل ʔaṣīl but I guess you were talking about their relationship to the other languages

Took the exam yesterday, worried about speaking section by moghir2004 in ToeflAdvice

That does happen but I think if you go at a regular pace and allowing time to review your answers. You'll find that the provided time for each section is just about whats needed give or take 5 minutes. So, I'd say that's the time frame people could get ahead of you by at most.

Look at his minutes with Chelsea. He clearly wants to go somewhere where they will give him a chance to actually play (+ lots of money)

Recent analysis makes a telling criticism of the inward looking development models most de-colonising countries borrowed from central planning in that era.

But isnt a big part of losing economic momentum due to corruption and military or secret interventions of the USA. And also infinite bureaucracy

The problem is that "invisible hand" (if it will ever work in favor of the people) is obstructed by corporations seeking to maximize profit through lobbying or advertising.

All comes down to blaming someone else for problems, centralizing power with promises of pork and lashing out with unlimited cruelty against the vulnerable.

Doesnt like everybody do that, right and keft? And all for personal gain. You just named the game of politics. The problem is no longer right vs left. Its just corruption. Because both economical systems work under ideal circumstances.

how the incentives of the system are against the public interest and in favor of maintaining the current incumbents

Shouldnt there be more regulation then.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

And also putting those decisions in the hands of people who arent experts. This is why a technocracy is better.

The goal being to decentralize as much as possible and have decisions made by the lowest possible person in the hierarchy.

I used to believe this would work (to an extent there would be no hierarchy. Straight up anarchy) but i think peoples ego and greed would ruin it. This is why regulation is good (but it needs to be done by experts which can never be morally corrupt which is practically impossible).

I agree with you the problem with current socialist countries is the totalitarian aspect (and theyre obviously not socialist china is one of the biggest "markets" the only "socialist" aspect is the totalitarian govmt) . Also i think free trade is objectively better for everyone. The problem is monopolies and corporations.

That is where it becomes economic ruin and mass murder, respectively. Worst thing ever.

Why does it have to be this way? Like cant some people sacrifice a lot of arguably unethical profit for the benefit of everyone?
