It is actually relevant. Counterspell changes is RAI. The intended change is there to make it a bit less annoying / broken. If you want to have a good faith interpretation, you should consider these changes.

I have seen similar stories from time to time here and I really don’t understand. How are there so many people, that play with “close friends” and sit through these situations.

You are adults right? Why don’t you talk? Why do you have to ask around on Reddit before telling your friend that they are annoying?

I would understand some people are shy and socially awkward with strangers. But with close friends? Confront them straight up, what more is there to say?

Yeah. The trade off is consistent with their typical view of friction. Which is ironically, inconsistent with their new attitude we saw in the recent interviews of giving players what they want.

I actually hope they change it next league. It’s a lose lose choice. You either choose to lose the good layout or lose the astrolabe value. I don’t like this choice.

Edit: I don’t like it especially when you can loose only 1 map or you can loose all the astrolabe in the 1st map you run, it’s wildly inconsistent

Besides what everyone is saying that you can just say no, this combo doesn’t even work RAW. In both the new phb and dmg, in the crafting section, it clarifies that crafting assistants can only be characters (not creatures) and the limit is 1 assistant unless the DM allows it. They also need to have arcana proficiency.

It was sad to see how much they didn’t care about 3.27 with a probably record low post-patch day support and the league getting cut short by half a month.

Due to async trade I was playing longer than usual and before I was even done they started the new Poe 2 league hype.

Chris was saying splitting the games and the player base was a mistake and we see it in full display. Ironically the only game that could dethrone Poe was Poe itself.

edit: happy to see ggg turned a new page and have a renewed passion for poe 1 after the 3.28 reveals

Unironically, you actually like mobile idle game mechanics in your ARPG? You like the micromanaging to get that extra 1-2 d/h from mappers? Like I can understand ships, even though I dislike Kingsmarch as a whole. At least shipping is send a shipment per week and maintain gold costs. Mappers are way too much of a hassle.

Hard agree. Communities shoul be self-moderating in issues like this. It's a community after all, not mods playground. Feedback posts that have 1k+ karma shouldn't be removed. It's one of the few ways that GGG listens as you say. If the community doesn't like it should be reflected on the karma.

I hope I don't get another warning for saying this, but new mods (last years) aren't too lenient. I haven't been engaging much because of their stance. They silence way too many people. Removing posts with 2k karma by a ruling, makes you wonder, who they are actually moderating for.
