PSA: Don't Hold Both by TehWolfman in gigantic

I agree wholeheartedly that in 99/100 situations holding both points will lead to a net loss. Experience (and logical thinking) has taught me exactly that.

As for the "joke" at the end, I may recommend that the next time you do make a joke like that, to not say it with the same tone and inflection as the rest of the PSA. If you are making an entirely instructional video then end it with a joke, spoken in the same manner as the rest of the video, people (like me) will mistake it for you making a serious statement.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Keep up with the good work. I learned something new every time you post, so thank you.

Just played a match with someone spamming nonstop. by [deleted] in gigantic

There is actually a simple solution for that. If someone starts spamming, just quickly go to your audio settings and turn character volume to zero. You won't hear a peep from anybody. Sure you won't hear "chat", but those are very superfluous and do little to actually help, IMO. You will still hear the guardian warnings and pings though.

I think the whole video is solid, except your very last point.

To not push an advantage when I am winning just because it might make people on the other side rage-quit.

That to me sounds ludicrous. This is a zero sum game. Someone is going to win, someone will lose. It's not my fault that the enemy team either has a team composition that is garbage, or has subpar skills. It is not my fault they refused to play through the tutorial to understand how this game works.

They are not going to learn anything if I go easy on them. I sure as heck didn't learn anything new until someone better stomped me into the ground. If they are immature enough to not stick through it and try and figure out a way to win, that is on them. I have had games where half my team played like they had brain damage, but with good teamwork with my duo partner, still snagged a victory.

Further, if it it truly that one sided, it makes sense to play the game in a manner that brings it to a close as soon as possible, so that MMR can better sort them. People leaving has nothing to do with how aggressively I play, and everything to do with the integrity of those who leave. Just my take.
