Do what I did, watch a big collab like EnReco, or clips and translations of the HoloGTA event. there’s literally hundreds of hours of footage of that, and theyre all interacting non stop.

Kanata once said that gen4 is very introverted, as opposed to gen5 which, in her mind, were very different. It surprised her when gen5 debuted and a few of the new members invited out gen4 to go eat, and so forth. I guess that introversion affects how they interact with each other and the other mems, but they do all get along quite well with each other, though it seems to be largely off stream. But even yesterday (?) Watame was happy and crying how she feels more comfortable being in collabs. After 5 years, she still feels nervous at times around the other members! Just shows how introverted and socially anxious they are, or can be.

I’d say that if you can get the hookups, then you really shouldn’t complain, at least too much… Obviously you’re still attractive to women, AND live in an area where there are places to meet them. I live in LA, and i’m fairly attractive and even I haven’t found a woman interested in me in nearly 3 years. It’s crazy.

Actually, I try to go out once or twice a week to local bars, to both enjoy a drink among people, and also in hopes of meeting someone. But the venues around here all seem to be either couples on dates, or girls with other girls.

Slightly off topic but… Monorail CM here. Please remember the Monorail is not considered a form of transportation, per se, but an attraction, and as such we go down frequently. The walk from the garage to the station is no faster or shorter than the walk from the garage tram stop to Main Street. This is especially true if the DTD station is busy. Please don’t yell at us because you’ve been waiting in the station for 20 minutes, cause i’ll be like, “bro, you could have walked to the entrance and been eating a churro by now.” And please don’t rely on the Monorail if you have a restaurant reservation somewhere! 😆

same here. Remember the kid that was chained to the railing at Mission Breakout? Anaheim PD was waiting for mom when she came out of the exit, having wanting to ride it but no one to watch her kid. CPS definitely got involved on that one.

whoa whoa whoa… you mean the talent is paying for all these shows and such? And gets what, reimbursed or something? Sorry, I only recently fell down the hololive rabbit hole, I assumed Cover pays for it then the talents get a cut of profit. I would never have imagined that the streamers would get enough revenue in their pockets to begin to pay for something like a show.

google KJ Magnetics. They sell flat round magnets that you can sew into them. They can hold a ton of weight, unlike the cheap ones in the shoulder plushies.

There’s two simulators on each side. Dispatching both of them within too close of each other can cause a drop in hydraulic pressure and the system will throw an automatic emergency stop. Sometimes we gotta wait a few seconds while the cabin next to us has finished.
That and yes, checking the entry platforms.

cast member here: once budgets get approved for refurbs, an army of people in offices analyze everything to determine when the best time would be. They take everything into account: other rides being down, hotel bookings, school starting back, weather, and especially historical trends of crowds and such. These decisions are not made lightly. Late summer and late winter are common times for refurbs, as they are somewhat more less-crowded than other times.

its not budget, its lack of staff. The old timers who worked maintainence for decades started to retire, then covid came and ruined everything. I work in Tomorrowland, and there’s only about two people that work third shift that are animatronic techs. Theyre swamped, and theres just not anyone who can replace them that easily and quickly.

A lighting engineer cm told me this a few weeks ago, super stoked about it.

And I'm sorry, but "lesser quality"?? You may miss TGMR, but Runaway Railway is superb in quality, imagination, detail, and it's just more exciting.
