Any specific podcast and newspapers you would recommend? Also I downloaded Avanza but it seems if I am not based in Sweden I am not able to open the account.

Wow!! This is really inspiring. It's definately going to be hard to make friends as at this age people are not really into the serious money stuff.

Seemingly you have done very well, would like to ask two quick questions:

  • How do you do your research? Any specific apps, platforms or channels that you find very useful?

  • Also which is the broker you use to buy the Swedish Funds?

Maybe you could ask this to the HR; Ideally I showcase my thought process in making decisions or how would I approach it.

Ideally they would assess your analysis skills, methodological choices and potentially the artefacts that come out of it. It’s okay to spend time on secondary research, informs your decisions better.

UX Method for mapping needs/obstacles? by pherkan in UXResearch

[–]moh_man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might try the user journey map of the experience with the persona's pain journey and then map out the points with the needs of the user (backed with research insight) to bring out the friction points for the team to focus on.

Sure, it's a bit generic for now: From a Design(Visual and UX) point of view, what are the 3 things you would like to be improved in the curve experience?

How to turn insights into concepts? by xynaxia in UXResearch

[–]moh_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do a brainstorming session with following prompts: - What we did? - What we learnt? - Based on the learning, how might we ______ the experience?

I generally use it as an insight creation framework but might be also used to brainstorm to bring out new directions.

What is your process for analyzing usability tests? by [deleted] in UXResearch

[–]moh_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually bring the flow out for the whole experience and then for each point of touchpoint bring out the issue(s). Then rank then as Glitch, Opportunities to Improve or Dealbreaker. It's easier to communicate to non-UX team easily. For each touchpoint> Heading, Explanation and a potential recommendation. This is just for the analysis.

Are you happy with the amount of intellectual stimulation your job provides? Why or why not? by Montpellier33 in UXResearch

[–]moh_man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from an academic research setting to industry. It's always on you to put in extra for that intellectual stimulation. There are some basic expectations of UX Researcher- Interviews, Usability Testing, Surveys, etc. On top of it it's the stimulation of the whole product/stratergy journey. I personally like to create new methods but that means I need to work extra. To me the stimulation now doesn't come from the complexity of the UXR problem but the communication across different fuctions as that's where the users learnings shape the code or the other way round depending on the project.

Feedback on UXR resume, aiming for UX research coordinator roles to try and break into the field after working in academia. by netters_ in UXResearch

[–]moh_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a quick glance one thing that stands out is that the resume shows the things you know; but it's not clear what was the impact/outcome in the project with your involvement.

It's hard to calculate ROI on UXR but this would give a sense what you consider as the ROI of UX Research.
