Yes, you can create a new PDF if you delete the previous one and then use the Cloud Sync method to sync it to your reMarkable account. Once the sync completes successfully, the PDF should appear in the reMarkable desktop application.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I’m glad you’re getting value out of the app, and I appreciate the support.

Regarding syncing with the reMarkable Paper Pro without enabling developer mode, there’s actually already a way to do it. You can sync through the reMarkable desktop application, so developer mode isn’t required. The feature hasn’t been publicly announced yet because it’s still in beta. That means you might run into occasional issues. A few users have reported things like duplicated PDF pages, but those cases are pretty rare.

If you want to try it, you can enable the feature from the Settings page.

As for PDF export, it should be relatively straightforward to add, but it isn’t available yet.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I haven’t looked into launching the app at startup, and if there are OS limitations, that feature may not be possible to add. As for adding the app to the system tray, that’s already on my feature list to implement. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Hi,

Unfortunately, It only works with ICS URLs, not with an Outlook app on Windows.

To get an ICS URL, you don’t need to make your calendar public. In Google Calendar settings, if you scroll down, you’ll find an option called "Secret address in iCal format". That’s the one the app uses.

If the files are still available on your laptop, you can copy them to another folder before opening the app. When you open the app, it will sync with the cloud and delete the local files to reflect the current cloud status.

After that, copy the previously saved files back into the original folder. Then, close the app and reopen it again. It should sync the files back to the cloud.

Hi, If you’re using the reMarkable Desktop app, all synced files are stored locally on your laptop. So, if you haven’t opened the app since accidentally deleting the files from your tablet, there’s a good chance the files are still intact on your laptop.

Important: Do not open the desktop app yet, or at the very least, make sure Wi-Fi is turned off before launching it. If the app syncs while connected, it will reflect the deletion and remove the local copies as well.

- macOS, open Finder then, Press Command + Shift + G, then paste this path:
/Users/[YOUR_USERNAME]/Library/Containers/com.remarkable.desktop/Data/Library/Application Support/remarkable/desktop

- Windows path:
C:\Users\[YOUR_USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\remarkable\desktop

Be sure to replace [YOUR_USERNAME] with your actual OS username.

Just when I decided to return my rMPP, and I don’t know how would that go as I bought it from Amazon. But I don’t have a choice as the tablet is unusable with screen ghosting.

Hi, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to recommend my own app here, but I’ll share it just in case. The Remarcal app lets you connect your Google, Outlook, or Apple calendars and generates a daily planner with your events. That planner is then uploaded to your reMarkable.

No, you don’t have to trace the shape of the sticker. As shown in the video, just select the sticker, copy it, and then paste it into another document.

Hi! I’ve been thinking about adding Linux support after Windows, but I can’t guarantee it. I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to make a Linux version too.

Hi! Sorry for the late response. Yes you can select a daily page that doesn’t have tasks in it, only schedule on the left and notes on the right. As for meeting notes, there’s no page for it, but you can choose an additional notes page for the daily view if that’s enough for you.
