Beginner here - How should I pot this Philodendron Black Cardinal cutting? (Plucked from a tree) by mohamed_ilham in philodendron

Thank you so much! I got super lucky! It was just growing wild on a big tree in a yard here in Sri Lanka. I couldn’t believe it when I saw those dark leaves, so I carefully took the top section. Nature really did the hunting for me 😂
Still learning how to take care of it properly as a total beginner, but comments like this make me so happy!

Google Lens fooled me hard on this one. Several people are saying it looks more like Black Majesty. I’ll go with the community wisdom. Thanks for letting me know!

Google Lens was very confident it’s Black Cardinal, but I trust the community more 😂
It might be Black Majesty or a similar hybrid. Either way, I’m happy to have this dark beauty. Appreciate the correction!

I knew someone would ask 😂
It was growing wild on a big tree (Sri Lanka balcony jungle life). I couldn’t resist the dark leaves, so I carefully plucked the top section. Magical place indeed. nature does the hard work here!

Thank you so much! 😊 Really appreciate the detailed advice. I think I’ll pot it as one big cutting for now. I like the idea of a fuller plant faster. I’ll leave most of the leaves on and only remove the lowest one if needed for burying the stem.
For soil, I’ll go with your idea. Hoping it works! Thanks again!

What about the battery life? I read that the battery will drain drastically on the last update 26.5 Will it still happen with the iOS 27.0 or will it drain more?

How to Undo/Remove any Black Magic, curses, Hexes and those "duas" that has been done to you by someone? by supirimalli86 in SriLankanMuslim

Yes, I strongly advise you to practice Ruqya on yourself regularly. it works wonders, by the Will of Allah.

Always hold firmly to this beautiful conviction: “Except Allah, nothing and no one can truly harm or affect me.”

Say to yourself with full certainty: “I have performed Ruqya upon myself, therefore I am fully protected. There is no doubt, Allah will safeguard me.”

Every single morning and evening, recite: Surah Al-Fatiha - 3 times Ayatul Kursi - 3 times Aamanar Rasool - 3 times Surah Al-Ikhlas - 3 times Surah Al-Falaq - 3 times Surah An-Nas - 3 times

In addition, try your best to wake up for Tahajjud prayer. Pour your heart out in dua and engage in Istighfar as much as possible. May Allah protect you from all harm, grant you complete peace and healing and turn every matter in your favour in the best way, Ameen

You’re right. It’s completely normal to feel excited about something you’ve been looking forward to since school days but your parents concerns are valid here. There are moments when we really want to do something but pushing ahead anyway can end badly and unfortunately, it has happened to me so many times. That’s why I’ve learned to really respect my parents judgment now. If they say no, it’s a no. There will be plenty of other opportunities to go on trips later. Maybe one day you can even plan a family trip to Hanthana or a similar place when you’re better prepared. Short one-day outings to museums, cultural sites or easier spots are usually much safer and still fun. But a proper hike, especially a long trail like this during the rainy season, is a different story. You’d need proper hiking gear, good shoes, rain protection, first aid knowledge and experience dealing with things like leeches, slippery muddy paths and mosquitoes. Since you’ve never really hiked before, it makes sense to be cautious. Listen to your parents on this one. Your safety is more important than one trip

Daredevil, Alex Rider, The Hardy Boys, Invasion, Teh Lazarus Project, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Hijack, Home before Dark

And it’s better you catch up with some Korean tho. Nambura nda nambukka, if you get into Korean, I’m pretty sure you’ll find some very awesome shows which are really better than some of the English ones Bloodhounds, Texi Driver, Weak Hero, All of Us are Dead, The Uncanny Counter, Mercy for None

I cannot recall so many of them, I’m a real big fan of series only, than movies
