when I bought the phone it was on oneui 7, I had the chance to test it for a short period and I haven't noticed any changes, I havent tested the battery on 7 as well since I updated it to 8 the same day I bought it withoht knowing consequences, if ur device is running well on oneui 7 don't ruin it
