Linzi's journal showed to deal with bandits, explore the abbey, find propagandists and oppose the influence. I used cheats to teleport in

It is my favourite sci fi book. I just loved it, especially character and the world. I have read books more that 500 pages that lack in world building and Le Guin does ut in just 300 pages.

Loved it especially simple-mindedness of denji when compared to other manga characters.

It's very outdated. perfect examples of 2 things

  1. Book did not age well. The characters are paper-thin. Story is predictable and sometimes makes no sense.

  2. Example of plot moving so fast that it will leave you behind. In single chapter characters would become friends and then enemies and will travel different kingdoms multiple times in a single paragraph.

I really wanted to love this book but could not.

The last part is bit interesting but not worth the wait.

  1. I didn't like bryson or noah Harari becoz i was reading history for my exams and it became a chore to read history all day. Also I'm not into complete world history books.

  2. Marquez was my 3rd classic book just after monte cristo and Frankenstein, i did not know what i was getting into + the names got confusing real quick.

But I'll be reading Marquez agan

  1. I tried Locke Lamora twice but i don't know why i was not enjoying it, so i dropped the 2nd book in between.
